Adiba is a current undergraduate at Stony Brook University, doing a double major in Business Management and Psychology, focusing on Finance and Marketing. She has a 3.8/4.0 GPA and has consistently been on the Dean’s List. She works as a Finance Student Assistant with Stony Brook University’s Division of Student Affairs as well as a Front Desk Receptionist with the Student Support Team. Adiba attended the Bronx High School of Science and graduated with a 95% average. Her coursework included AP Psychology (5/5), AP U.S. History, AP World History, AP English Literature and Composition, & AP Calculus. Adiba scored a 720 on her reading section & and a 780 on the math section on the SAT. She also scored 530 on the SHSAT.
Adiba has previously worked at Columbia University as a Campus Assistant and as a camp counselor for 2 summers. At Columbia University, Pre-college programs, she assisted with teachers and students with hundreds of courses and went on trips throughout NYC. Adiba took the initiative to help coworkers and proofread letters for 3000+ students. As a camp counselor, Adiba assisted teachers with coursework for elementary school kids and extracurricular activities following the classes. In college, Adiba has experience as an undergraduate Teaching Assistant and assisting with coursework & is also Vice President of Service with the National Residence Hall Honorary. She was also a part of West Apartments Residential Apartments, creating events for on-campus students and collaborating with other organizations.
In her free time, Adiba enjoys volunteering at the Food Pantry at Stony Brook University Hospital and catching up on her favorite TV shows on Hulu and Netflix.
