Adiba is currently an undergraduate student at NYU Tandon, majoring in Civil Engineering with plans to minor in Structural Engineering. Adiba serves as an events coordinator for NYU’s BSA (Bengali Student Association) and is currently enrolled in courses such as Strength of Materials, Analysis of Determinate Structures, and Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics. Adiba completed a Semester-Long Design Project (SLDP) in which she used Revit to design a six-story renovation of NYU’s Jacobs Hall. Through this project, she gained hands-on experience with 3D printing and laser cutting while collaborating with a team to design and construct a detailed physical model of the building.

Adiba graduated from Bronx Science as an AP Scholar with Distinction. Adiba was a member of the National Honor Society and completed a rigorous academic curriculum, including AP Biology, AP U.S. History, AP Computer Science A, AP Statistics, AP English Language, AP English Literature and Composition, AP Physics 1, AP Physics C, AP Calculus AB, Linear Algebra, and Financial and Actuarial Mathematics. During high school, she was actively involved in several extracurricular activities, including the Desktop Robotics Club, where she learned to wire circuits using a motherboard, transmit signals through electrical connections, and detect inputs through basic sensing systems. Adiba also frequently participated in MIST (Muslim Inter-Scholastic Tournament), earning 2nd- and 3rd-place trophies in basketball and placing 5th nationally in the Business Venture competition.

Adiba completed a summer internship as a Marketing Manager, where she worked closely with community leaders to advocate for the development of a recreational ground. She also has experience tutoring and regularly assists younger peers with coursework and test preparation. Adiba attended Kweller Prep for SAT preparation and earned a 1540 on her SAT.

In her free time, Adiba enjoys racking up trophies in Brawl Stars and going to the pool with her friends.
