Kweller Prep Tutor Aishwari

Aishwari is an undergraduate student at St. John’s University. She is currently studying Pharmacy and is in the direct 6-year PharmD program. This upcoming semester, she will be taking courses such as Introduction to Pharmacy Practice and Communications in Pharmacy.

Aishwari attended Queens High School for the Sciences at York College and graduated with an Advanced Regents Diploma and NHS recognition. At Queens High School for the Sciences, Aishwari took numerous Advanced Placement courses, including AP Human Geography, AP World, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Computer Science A, AP Language and Composition, AP Precalculus, AP Physics C, and AP Calculus BC. She graduated from high school as an AP Scholar with Distinction.

During high school, Aishwari was active in her school community. She was part of clubs such as QHSS More Medics and QHSS Make-a-Wish, where she was involved in inviting individuals to speak at club sessions and making care packages and cards for children and patients in hospitals. Aishwari was also on the Public Forum debate team, where she debated and judged competitions for the American Debate League. Aishwari was the secretary of her National Honor Society chapter at QHSS, and she was involved in planning and inducting the next members of NHS. At St. John’s, Aishwari is currently a member and the freshman representative of SJU Harmony, a health advocacy club that invites speakers in the healthcare field and conducts community service events.

Outside of school, Aishwari has conducted research in different internships. She has presented her research work on lead in residential soil at the American Geophysical Conference and has published her abstract. Aishwari has also competed and won 1st place in the Metro Area for Environmental Science at the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium Semi-Finals. Additional internships Aishwari has completed are the CUNY CREST-HIRES internship, where she analyzed air quality data of India using Python and other software, the Scientist in Residence Program, where Aishwari researched correlations between public health concerns, and the NYU ARISE biLab, where Aishwari used machine learning to develop drone databases for building inspections.

In her free time, Aishwari loves to sing and learn Hindustani Classical music, along with accompanying her brother in music. Aishwari also enjoys attending classes and volunteering at her religious organization, Sri Ma Vidya Niketan. Aishwari is a really big fan of Bollywood movies.
