Alex is applying to law schools to pursue a JD in Patent Law. Alex graduated from Union College with a Mechanical Engineering major and a Film Studies minor. While at Union College, Alex was involved with Jewish life on campus and was a member of Chabad, a captain of the Union College Rocket Competition Team, and a philanthropy chair for the Theta Delta Chi fraternity. While in college, Alex was passionate about learning about all aspects of mechanical engineering and placed in the top 10% of his graduating class by excelling in classes like Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Kinematics & Dynamics, and Heat Transfer. Alex’s passion for patent law was curated out of his love for reading manuals and explaining how to build things to his handier friends.
Alex graduated from the highly competitive Catholic High school Archbishop Molloy, where he graduated Cum Laude. Alex auditioned for the school’s Science Olympiad team in his sophomore year and was a top-ten medalist for his remaining time at Molloy. He eventually placed 1st in a helicopter construction competition in his senior year. Alex took a series of rigorous classes at Molloy, such as AP Physics and Calculus AB.
Alex has worked at Kweller Prep for over six years and tutored in subjects including Regents, SHSAT, SAT, and TACHS. As a hobby, Alex is classically trained in piano and also plays the drums. During his free time, Alex enjoys spending his weekends golfing and playing tennis with his friends.
