Alexandra is an undergraduate student at Macaulay Honors at Hunter College, where she majors in Biochemistry and minors in Political Science.
Alexandra is a graduate of The Bronx High School of Science, where she took 10 AP courses and graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Alexandra is a National Merit Scholarship finalist, scoring a 1490 PSAT and 1550 on her first SAT. She received mainly 5s on APs such as AP Physics 1, AP Biology, AP US History, AP English Literature and Composition, and more. While at Bronx Science, Alexandra served as student body treasurer and S.O. Cabinet member for two years, during which she organized textbook drives and connected students with academic and social resources.
Alexandra was a four-year varsity XCTF award-winning pentathlete and captain, where she worked alongside her teammates to bring home 2 city championships and 10 borough championship titles. Alexandra also created her school’s student-athlete coalition, where she worked to provide mental and educational support for athletes within her school environment.
Outside of school, Alexandra served as a volunteer researcher at the Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she contributed to Radiation Oncology Research. Alexandra also served as a campus captain for The Hidden Opponent, a non-profit focused on supporting student athletes in school and beyond. During her time with THO, the non-profit partnered with Adidas and with athletes such as Ilona Maher and Victoria Garrick-Browne.
Alexandra was a Northeastern regional divisional winner for Games for Change, a coding competition focused on student education through digital media. Her work received the attention of the United Nations, allowing her to speak at the UN as a student-voice winner for the International Day of Peace.
Alexandra is the oldest sister of five and has served as a National Honor Society tutor for two years. She is excited to meet new students and help shape the eager minds of tomorrow. In her free time, Alexandra loves to write music, cook fun meals, and watch Gilmore Girls.
