AROSHA

Arosha is a 5th-year graduate student attending St. John’s University’s Tobin College of Business in the Accounting and Taxation Scholar’s Program. She recently graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is pursuing her Master’s in Taxation. Arosha graduated top 5% in the Carl Sagan Math and Science program at Forest Hills High School with a 96.75 GPA. Throughout high school, she was a part of Math Team and participated in AMC math competitions. She took 5 Advanced Placement courses; A.P Environmental, A.P World History, A.P Art History, A.P Calculus, A.P Psychology. Because of her outstanding academic performance, she was accepted into Fordham University on full scholarship and was given $148,000 total in scholarship money over four years at St. John’s University. She ultimately decided to attend St. John’s University. Arosha is 1 of 253 students in the United States to receive The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board Scholarship for graduate school. She was also given the Ernst and Young Scholarship for academic excellence and the St. John University Gold Award for exemplary leadership through active involvement at the University. Arosha has also been on the Dean’s List for all four years of her undergraduate degree(2017-2021). At St. John’s she is a member of The National Honors Society of Leadership and Success, Phi Eta Sigma Honors Society, The Armenian Club, and Women on Wall Street. She also holds executive positions on the Economics and Finance Society and The Accounting and Taxation Scholar’s Program board. As a junior in college, she received offers from the Top 7 International Accounting firms. She eventually chose to pursue her career at the largest and most prestigious accounting firm in the United States, Deloitte. Arosha is currently on track to complete her CPA by the end of 2022. Some of her accounting coursework includes Corporate Taxation, Cost Accounting, Business Statistics 1 &2, Business Analytics, and Information Systems. While not at Kweller Prep, some of Arosha’s favorite activities are playing tennis, spending time with friends, and reading.
