Chris is an undergraduate student at New York University, where he plans to major in neural science. After college, he plans to go to medical school and work as either a neurosurgeon or a psychiatrist.
Chris graduated from the Bronx High School of Science with a 94 cumulative average. He took 9 AP courses, including AP Calculus BC, AP Biology, AP Physics, and AP Music Theory, and scored 4’s and 5’s on all his exams. Chris scored a 1510 superscore on his SAT, with a sub score of 780 in Math and 730 in English.
At Bronx Science, Chris was a part of the Model UN team, where he won an honorable mention award at GCMUN and chaired his own WHO committee at SCIMUNC (the annual Model UN conference Bronx Science hosts). He was also in the National Honor Society, where he helped set up school events and did one-on-one tutoring in AP Physics and Precalculus. Outside of school, Chris conducted research at a laboratory of Weill Cornell Medicine, where he explored the underlying biochemistry of Alzheimer’s disease. He also interned at the Queens Zoo twice, once as a Discovery Guide Leader, where he educated visitors on wildlife conservation, and once as a Youth Environmental Advocate, where he focused on advocacy in conservation. Chris also worked as a TA, where he taught Geometry, English, Biology, and Precalculus.
Chris is excited to teach students and help them reach their full potential in education and in life. In his free time, he likes to binge comedy movies, play the piano, and try new cuisines.
