Christine is an undergraduate student at Princeton University, where she plans to major in history and environmental studies. After college, Christine intends to attend law school and eventually become an environmental lawyer.
Christine graduated from the Bronx High School of Science with a 98 cumulative average. She took 11 Advanced Placement courses, including AP Calculus AB, AP Biology, AP Physics, AP English Language and Composition, AP Environmental Science, and AP US History. She scored 4s and 5s on all her exams and scored 1560 on the SAT with a reading subscore of 770 and a math subscore of 790. Christine also scored 100 on the English and Global History Regents and near-perfect scores on the Physics and Algebra Regents.
At Bronx Science, Christine was a student government director and oversaw 100 clubs, hosting school-wide events in the process. She served as the president of the school’s environmental club and vice president of Bronx Science’s Black Student Union. She also partnered with the administration to start a mentorship program for underrepresented students, which has since accumulated 50 participants. Outside of school, she interned at the Metropolitan Museum of Art ,where she was on their editorial team, creating content that reached 370,000 viewers. Throughout her high school years, she led the non-profit ‘Zero Waste Schools NYC’ and helped raise $20,000 for recycling centers in Bronx schools.
Christine also attended a Japanese Weekend School every Saturday for 10 years, learning about the Japanese language and culture with a bilingual education curriculum. She was the student government secretary and led weekly tutoring sessions to assist 40+ elementary school students with homework.
Christine is very enthusiastic to teach students and help them achieve their SHSAT, PSAT, and SAT goals. She hopes to foster a comfortable environment that encourages questions and curiosity! In her free time, Christine enjoys watching horror movies and going on hikes.
