Farhan is currently an undergraduate student at Queens College, City University of New York, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Advanced Accounting. Maintaining a 4.0 GPA and earning a place on the Dean’s List, he has demonstrated exceptional academic achievement while developing a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and business analytics. His commitment to excellence extends beyond the classroom through leadership, competition, and service.
Farhan graduated from Queens High School for the Sciences at York College (QHSS) with a 4.0 GPA and Honor Roll distinction. As a former SHSAT student himself, he understands the dedication required to succeed in New York City’s most competitive academic environments. He earned an outstanding 1520 SAT score, placing him among the nation’s highest-performing students, and completed a rigorous curriculum that included AP Calculus, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, and AP World History.
Beyond the classroom, Farhan has established himself as a leader within the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) Queens College Student Chapter, where he serves as Membership Director, overseeing recruitment initiatives and supporting a community of more than 170 members. He represented Queens College as a national finalist at the IMA Student Case Competition in Scottsdale, Arizona, presenting an analytics-driven strategy to help the Orlando Magic improve team performance and earning a $2,000 scholarship. He also competed in the Blackstone LaunchPad x Basta Innovation Sprint, where his team developed an innovative strategy to increase WNBA fan engagement. Their solution earned first place and a $4,000 award after presentations before executives from Deloitte and L’Oréal.
Outside of academics, Farhan serves as a Student Ambassador for the New York Jobs CEO Council, helping connect fellow students with career development opportunities while partnering with student organizations to organize professional development events featuring representatives from leading firms such as Blackstone, J.P. Morgan, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, and PwC. In his free time, he is an avid supporter of the New York Knicks and Arsenal FC and enjoys following sports analytics, financial markets, and the intersection of sports, business, and data-driven decision-making. He also enjoys mentoring students and helping others achieve their academic goals.
