Hiro

Hiro is currently an undergraduate student at Wesleyan University, pursuing studies in both Political Science and Mathematics.

Hiro is a proud graduate of Hunter College High School, class of 2026. During his time there, he completed a rigorous and demanding academic program that included AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC, AP Art History, and International Relations.
Hiro’s academic excellence is reflected in his outstanding standardized test scores. He earned an impressive 1540 on the SAT, with a 790 out of 800 on the English section and a 750 out of 800 on the Math section. He further demonstrated his abilities with a remarkable 35 on the ACT.

A devoted musician, Hiro has played the violin for 14 years, including 13 years of study at the Lucy Moses School, where he performed in multiple orchestras and chamber groups. He has been evaluated by NYSSMA on three separate occasions, earning exceptional scores of 98%, 98%, and 99%. Among his many musical accomplishments, Hiro won first place in the Violin Duet category at the American Protégé International Music Competition, an honor that earned him the opportunity to perform at the legendary Carnegie Hall. Throughout all four years of high school, he was also a dedicated member of both his school’s orchestra and chamber strings ensemble.

Hiro’s talents extend well beyond the concert hall and into the world of competitive athletics. He was a starting member of his high school’s varsity fencing team for four years, capturing first place in the city on multiple occasions. Demonstrating his leadership and commitment to the sport, he also managed the girls’ varsity fencing team and served as an assistant coach for the middle school team.

As an educator, Hiro brings extensive experience teaching and tutoring both the English and Math sections of the SAT. He also served as a Teaching Assistant for a high school math class, where he supported instruction, graded assignments, and led lessons of his own. Hiro works exceptionally well with students of all levels and backgrounds, and he is deeply passionate about teaching.

In his free time, Hiro enjoys baking and watching movies.
