Kweller Prep Tutor Isabella

Isabella is an undergraduate student studying Graphic Design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Isabella has a 3.9 GPA and earns a total of $40,000 in merit scholarships from the Institute as well as outside organizational scholarships. She previously attended Pratt’s extension campus in Utica, NY, Pratt Munson. Here she was involved in the community by leading the school’s Programming Board as well as being a part of the ComD Gallery. As Programming Board president, she led and collaborated with a team to develop initiatives, design marketing materials, decorate event spaces, plan event activities, and oversee and coordinate school trips for the Pratt student body. Her role in the ComD Gallery allowed her to design and implement the organization’s logo with a focus on brand messaging and visual appeal, as well as manage gallery operations to enable the showcasing of student creations. At the end of her time at Pratt Munson, she received the Taylor Straight Memorial Hope Award, named for students who excel in creative direction, and has had her work exhibited in various shows throughout her years there.

Before attending Pratt Institute, Isabella graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School. Here she earned honors, a 96.8 GPA, and a named scholarship to fund her education. At her alma mater, she was involved in several clubs, such as Art Club, Spanish Club, Photography Club, and was vice president of the Baking Club. During her time at Molloy, she tutored in Algebra I and II, Geometry, and College Algebra. Key parts of her coursework at this time include AP Psychology, AP Government and Politics, honors Physics, English, and History. She also volunteered at SOMOS Community Care and VIAHR Foundation for organizational and design experience. In her free time, Isabella enjoys photography, illustration, and making ceramics.
