Jakub currently attends Harvard College, where he will be pursuing a dual major in Economics and Physics.
Jakub graduated from Bronx Science. At Bronx Science, Jakub completed 14 advanced placement courses, including AP Chemistry, AP World History, AP US History, AP Physics 1, AP English Language and Composition, AP Psychology, AP Spanish Language, AP Physics with Calculus Mechanics, AP Physics with Calculus Electricity and Magnetism, AP Calculus BC, AP US Government, AP English Literature and Composition, AP Microeconomics, and AP Macroeconomics. On top of that, Jakub received 1530 on the SAT with a 790/800 in the Math section and a 740/800 in the English section.
Jakub was an active member of the Bronx Science communit,y participating in Student Government. He’s run multiple school-wide events like Halloween Monster Mash and Red Cross blood drives. He is also the president of the Bronx Science Black and Latine work where he builds a welcoming community for the small Black and Latino communities at Bronx Science. In addition, Jakub read the morning announcements at Bronx Science every Tuesday and Wednesday. Outside of school, Jakub worked at an internship at the New York Historical working as a Student Historian Intern, where he created educational materials about the Reconstruction period in America.
In his free time, Jakub likes to play soccer with his friends and Brawl Stars with his younger cousin.
