Joshua holds a Master of Science in Sports Management from Columbia University — the only Sports Management program in the Ivy League, admitting a selective incoming class of fewer than 100 students. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from SUNY Binghamton University, with concentrations in Management Information Systems and Marketing and a minor in Education that grew out of his commitment to teaching and making an impact on young people. Joshua graduated cum laude, appeared on the Dean’s List multiple times, and served as Vice President of the Binghamton University Marketing Association. He also spent his final year at Binghamton as an Athletics Tutor and Mentor, working primarily with student-athletes on statistics coursework. He was admitted to Binghamton with a 1500 SAT score, including a perfect 800 on the Math section.
Joshua is a graduate of The Bronx High School of Science, where he finished with a 94/100 average, earned an Advanced Regents Designation, and received the award for Excellence in Concert Band as a percussionist all four years. He completed eight Advanced Placement courses, including Microeconomics, Biology, and U.S. History. Outside the classroom, he mentored younger students as a Big Sib and played on both the Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball teams.
Joshua’s connection to Kweller Prep goes back to his own test prep. He earned a 588 on the SHSAT and ranked Bronx Science above Stuyvesant on the strength of a long family history at the school — and he prepared for that exam with us. Having sat in the same seat as the students he now works with, Joshua brings both the credentials and the perspective to guide families through the process, and he takes real pride in giving back to the organization that helped him reach his dream school.
Joshua’s mentoring experience spans high school, collegiate, and student-athlete settings, and he works with students preparing for the SHSAT and SAT as well as statistics and math coursework, drawing on his own perfect Math score and his years tutoring quantitative subjects at the university level.
In his free time, Joshua enjoys playing basketball, attending sports games, and traveling around New York City.
