Kweller Prep Tutor Joshua

Joshua is currently a graduate student at Columbia University studying for a Master of Science in Sports Management. His graduate program is the only Sports Management program in the entire Ivy League, with a selective incoming class of less than 100 students. For undergraduate studies, Joshua graduated from SUNY Binghamton University in May of 2024. Joshua received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in Management Information Systems and Marketing. Joshua also completed a minor in education, which stemmed from his passion and desire for teaching and impacting youth. Joshua graduated cum laude, appearing on the Dean’s List multiple times while serving as the Vice President of the Binghamton University Marketing Association. He also spent his senior year at Binghamton as an Athletics Tutor and Mentor, mainly assisting student-athletes with statistics coursework. Joshua was granted admission to Binghamton with a 1500 SAT score, including a perfect 800 in the math section.

For high school, Joshua attended the Bronx High School of Science, finishing with a GPA of 94/100. He graduated with an Advanced Regents Designation and an award for Excellence in Concert Band as a percussionist for all four years. At Bronx Science, Joshua served as a mentor to younger students while volunteering as a Big Sib. He also played on the Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball teams throughout his time at Bronx Science. Joshua took 8 AP courses throughout his high school career, including Microeconomics, Biology, US History, and more. Joshua was granted admission to Bronx Science with a 588 SHSAT score, ultimately ranking Bronx Science higher than Stuyvesant due to a vast family history at Bronx Science. Joshua originally prepared for this exam at Kweller Prep and is excited to give back to the organization that once helped him get accepted into his dream school! During his free time, Joshua enjoys playing basketball, attending sports games, and traveling around New York City.
