Kingston is an undergraduate student studying biomedical engineering at Binghamton University. He is a graduate of Hunter College High School, where he earned a 3.8 GPA and a 1510 SAT score (770 Math, 740 English). He plans on majoring in Biomedical Engineering while studying music on the side. Since he was 7, Kingston has been practicing the piano, and his continuous and diligent playing has brought him to perform in Vienna and London at prestigious concert halls while winning 1st place in international competitions.
Academically, he is most interested in STEM, taking courses like Physics, Biochemistry, AP BC Calculus, and AP Chemistry. His interests have led him to intern at Metropolitan Hospital and the Cooper Union, working in labs and learning from professionals as he pursues a career as a Biomedical Engineer.
Kingston has extensive tutoring experience, having worked with over 80 students ranging from PreK to 12th grade through Kumon, where he created structured lesson plans and provided personalized guidance, and through a summer internship at a public middle school, where he mentored K–8 students facing housing insecurity, offering academic support and emotional encouragement.
What Kingston spends most of his time doing, however, is giving back to the community. Through his organization Global Harmony Allies, he plans concerts at elderly homes and hospitals, Earth Day clean-up initiatives, and tutoring sessions teaching younger students music theory. His endeavors have even brought him to perform at Citi Field and the United Nations Headquarters in New York City. In his free time, he can be found baking, playing Clash Royale, or singing along to Bruno Mars, ideally all three at once.
