Nikhil

Nikhil attends Purdue University, the largest engineering college ever ranked in the top 5. His college alumni include Neil Armstrong and Eugene Cernan, the first and last astronauts to have walked on the Moon. Nikhil will pursue a career in Aerospace Engineering. His interests include computer programming and mathematics. His current coursework includes Computer Programming, Calculus Level 2, Engineering Design, English, Physics, Chemistry, and American History.

Nikhil graduated from Hunter College High School (HCHS). Nikhil took various challenging college-level courses at Hunter High School, including Advanced Placement U.S. Government, Advanced Placement Macroeconomics, Advanced Placement Microeconomics, Advanced Placement Physics, Advanced Placement AB Calculus, and Advanced Placement Statistics.

Additionally, Nikhil participated in various extracurricular activities while a student at Hunter. He served as an executive board member of Hunter’s Finance Club, where he designed trading algorithms and mentored students on code creations. Nikhil spent his summers interning at Metropolitan hospital in the IT department.

Nikhil received a 5/5 on the Computer Science AP exam and an A in Computer Architecture I at Hunter College. Outside of academics, Nikhil is a stellar athlete. He practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is devoted to Cross Country, where he made the USATF Junior Olympic Nationals in 2019. Additionally, Nikhil assisted with coaching the cross-country team throughout the pandemic.

Nikhil is proud of serving as a Hunter High School Exam tutor at Kweller Prep. He is the first and only member of his family to be accepted to Hunter High School. He has helped fifth and sixth-grade students prepare for the Hunter test since his senior year of high school. Nikhil has tutored students via zoom online and in-person at Kweller Queens. Nikhil has taught Kweller Prep’s long and short Hunter courses as a class teacher and as a private, one-on-one instructor.

Nikhil enjoys listening to music, going to the gym, and spending time with his friends from Hunter High School in his free time. He is excited and looks forward to helping his students succeed.
