Kweller Prep Tutor Nile

Nile is a graduate of Cornell University, where he majored in Government and China-Asia Pacific Studies with a minor in History. During his college career, Nile was a fellow in the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Program, a selective fellowship that prepares students for entry into PhD programs. His research focused on the impact of school security measures on students’ academic performance. In his senior year, Nile studied abroad at the prestigious Peking University School of International Studies in Beijing. His sincere interest is in government. Over the past few summers, Nile interned at both the U.S. State Department and the NYC Mayor’s Office, including a role supporting the Chief of Staff. This fall, he will begin serving as an Urban Fellow in the NYC Mayor’s Office.

Nile graduated from Townsend Harris High School with a perfect 4.0 GPA. In high school, Nile served as a teacher’s assistant for the AP Japanese class and earned a perfect 800 on both the SAT World History and SAT U.S. History exams. He was recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction and received scores of 5 on the AP English Literature, AP U.S. History, and AP World History exams.

Nile has helped students achieve top scores on standardized exams and gain admission to the nation’s leading high schools and colleges. He is excited to continue supporting students in reaching their academic goals. In his free time, Nile enjoys walks with his dog Nike, playing baseball with his men’s team, and watching the Knicks.
