NINA Bing

NINA graduated summa cum laude from Binghamton University with a B.A. concentrating in International Affairs. Nina fulfilled her undergraduate credits following a Pre-Law track. During her undergraduate degree, Nina worked with several professors and Ph.D candidates within the Political Science Department at Binghamton serving as a research assistant on various projects ranging from coalition governments, EU organizations, and political parties. Nina has also interned at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. as part of a semester-long internship program at her university. Following her graduation, Nina plans to continue her education and pursue a graduate program.

Nina attended Brooklyn Technical High School and also took the SHSAT Prep course at Kweller Prep. She finished with a 96.22 cumulative GPA as a part of the Law and Society Major. Due to taking accelerated courses since middle school, Nina was able to complete all required courses for NYC high school students in her first two years at Brooklyn Tech allowing her to take a variety of electives that represent her interest in pursuing a career in law and her diverging passion for psychology. She has taken courses named Legal Ethics, Criminal Procedure, Forensic Criminology, Criminal Psychology, and Civil Law. She has taken a variety of advanced placement courses such as AP Government and Politics, AP United States History, AP Psychology, AP World History, AP English Language and Composition, AP Literature, and AP Marco Economics as a part of her major at school. She has also opted to take advanced placement courses outside of her focus of study including, AP Computer Science, AP Statistics, and AP Calculus AB. She earned over 100 hours in community service and stayed in the top 10% throughout her years in high school which has placed her in the National Honors Society for all four years at Brooklyn Tech. She co-founded a Woman in Business Club in her third year at Brooklyn Tech and participated in the Big/Little Sib organization where she served as a mentor to a group of twenty incoming freshmen every year. After school, Nina participated in dual enrollment classes as a part of the NYC College Now Program, allowing her to take free college courses at any CUNY where she earned credits for college. Nina has worked as a grader at Kweller Prep for Hunter essays and homework. She is passionate about passing on the knowledge of the high school admissions process which she went through herself a few years ago. She has taken private with students studying for the TACHS Exam, Hunter Prep, taught Grade 5 Math Classes, various Hunter and SHSAT courses, and a SHSAT/ISEE Course at Kweller Prep. Beyond academics, Nina enjoys reading historical fiction novels, volunteering at the New York Memory Center, playing volleyball with her teammates, and traveling with her family.
