Pari is currently an undergraduate student at Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College, where she is pursuing a Biological Sciences major and an Economics minor on the pre-medical track. Some of her coursework has included Applied Statistics, Intro Biology, Intro Chemistry, and Brain & Behavior.
Pari attended Stuyvesant High School and graduated as an AP Scholar with Distinction and as a member of ARISTA Honors Society. She was previously a Kweller Prep student preparing for the SHSAT, in which she got a score of 592. She achieved a 1570 SAT score, putting her in the 99th percentile of all test takers. At Stuyvesant, Pari took several rigorous courses and achieved high scores on all of them, including AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC, AP Biology, AP English Language/Literature, AP Psychology, AP World History, and Advanced Human Pathophysiology.
Pari has extensive tutoring and mentorship experience. She has tutored SHSAT independently, along with previous tutoring experience with students ages 3-13 in a variety of English and Math subjects. She tailors her strategies according to each student’s strengths and weaknesses.
Outside of academics and tutoring, Pari was deeply involved in extracurricular leadership while at Stuyvesant. She served as a Bollywood Dance Team director, making and teaching choreographies for several annual performances, such as SING!, StuySquad, and SOS. She was also an active member of other SING! crews, including hip-hop dance and makeup. Additionally, she was an Alto 1 section leader in Stuyvesant’s Oratorio Choir, which performed at renowned institutions like Lincoln Center through DCINY. She managed rehearsals and practices, ensuring that all 20 Alto 1s were confident in the part. Currently, she is a Restorative Justice Mediator in Macaulay’s Restorative Practice Program, where she facilitates workshops and community-building circles at Hunter College.
In her free time, Pari enjoys volunteering with ACEing Autism, exploring new breakthroughs in neuroscience research, and watching a diverse variety of movies and TV shows.
