Raihana earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from New York University. A graduate of Stuyvesant High School, she scored a 1450 on the SAT and brings a strong quantitative foundation to her work with students.
Professionally, Raihana began her career in consulting, where she focused on client strategy and operations. She later carried that experience into a Series A health-tech startup, serving as the primary point of contact for over 100 client accounts and helping drive revenue growth through the company’s hypergrowth period.
At NYU, Raihana served as President of the Bengali Students Association for three years. She revived the organization after it went dormant during the pandemic and built partnerships with universities across the East Coast to cultivate a larger, more connected South Asian community. She also contributed to NYU Motorsports on the business side and participated in the Girls Who Code Leadership Academy, where she paired her engineering training with business strategy.
Raihana was equally involved throughout high school. At Stuyvesant, she wrote and contributed to Stuy Indicator, the Art section of Stuy Spectator, and Humans of Stuy. She also served as a Special Events organizer for MIST, an annual competition drawing more than 400 high school students, where she designed and fabricated laser-cut awards and decorations for participants. Beyond school, she has led her workplace’s AsiaPact organization, creating virtual community events, volunteering at local soup kitchens, and driving marketing initiatives across the North American region.
Outside of academics and work, Raihana enjoys watching a wide range of shows and movies, reading, and traveling to new places — always on the lookout for her next adventure.
