Kweller Prep Tutor Rashik

Rashik is currently a master’s student in Cybersecurity at New York University. Rashik completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering on a scholarship. During undergraduate and graduate studies, Rashik developed a strong academic foundation through coursework in chemistry, statistics, calculus, electronics, discrete mathematics, object-oriented programming, data structures, operating systems, and network security.

Before attending NYU, Rashik studied at Bayside High School, where he was part of the Sports Medicine and Management program and interned at a physical therapy office. Rashik served as Vice President of the Make-A-Wish Club, played on the varsity tennis team, volunteered at Nassau University Medical Center for two years, and graduated with a 4.0 GPA and a 1440 SAT score. Rashik has over four years of tutoring experience, working one-on-one with students as well as supporting peers on campus at NYU. Rashik served as a teaching assistant in an engineering lab, guiding students in using technical equipment and encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving. As both a mentor and educator, Rashik takes pride in helping students build confidence and develop strong academic habits.

Outside of academics, Rashik enjoys playing tennis, volunteering, and attending community and religious gatherings. At NYU, Rashik has been a proud member of both the Muslim Student Association and the Bengali Student Association, participating in meetings and events that foster connection and growth. Rashik’s passion for learning, mentoring, and community involvement continues to shape the supportive and encouraging approach Rashik brings to every student.
