SATIYA is a first-year law student at The City University of New York Law School ranked the #1 law school for the public interest. She has served as the manager of Kweller Prep Manhattan for four years and counting. Satiya graduated from St. John’s University summa cum laude , where she was part of the honors program and attended on a merit scholarship. While at St. John’s, Satiya earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies. Her coursework included classes in legal ethics, civil litigation, legal research, litigation, trial, and appellate advocacy, legal writing, employment law, social justice advocacy, and family law. Satiya also served as the founding member of St. John’s Views, an extracurricular organization dedicated to uniting students with different political views to host campus-wide discussions. Under her leadership, Kweller Prep Manhattan has expanded tenfold. Satiya has served as a liaison for hundreds of Manhattan families dozens of tutors. The previous summer, Satiya managed Kweller Prep Manhattan’s summer programs by day, and she attended in Kweller’s LSAT courses at night. Satiya taught courses at Kweller Prep Queens for one year. She prepared students for the Hunter College High School (HCHS) Entrance Exam, the Baccalaureate School for Global Education (BSGE), and the ELA & Mathematics Standardized State Exams. Satiya also worked as a Hunter essay grader and conducted mock interviews for prospective Bard and Baccalaureate HS applicants. She is extremely close to and has been trained directly under company founder Frances Kweller.
