Kweller Prep Tutor Simon

SIMON currently attends Georgetown University, majoring in Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences. After undergrad, he plans to attend law school and aspires to become a real estate lawyer.

Simon graduated from the Bronx High School of Science with a 4.0 GPA. While in attendance, he studied AP Calculus BC, AP European History, AP English Language and Composition, AP English Literature and Composition: Creative Writing, AP Microeconomics, AP Physics, AP Spanish Language and Culture, and AP US History. Simon scored a 1540 on the SAT and a 35 on the ACT.

Simon is a leader in many communities. He was a successful varsity debater in high school, representing Bronx Science on the national level and championing multiple tournaments in the Lincoln-Douglas category. Simon was the Principal of the Low-Brass section in the Concert Band and the lead trombonist in the Jazz Band. Simon was the Vice President of the Jewish Student Union, helping to plan and coordinate engaging activities for over 30 students every week. In addition, he worked as a staff writer for the Vox Discipulorum World Language Magazine, where he published articles about the Yiddish language for an audience of over 3,000. He was a passionate member of the Political Discourse Club, where he won the Diplomatic Excellence Award for consistently bridging ideological divides.

For the past two summers, Simon has worked at Ramapo for Children, a camp in upstate New York for neurodiverse campers. He has experience working with kids on the autism spectrum and supervising kids with behavioral challenges. In his free time, he likes to practice martial arts and is a black belt in kickboxing!
