SUHA

Kweller Prep Tutor Suha

SUHA is an internal medicine resident who graduated from SUNY Stony Brook for residency after completing a dual degree, coordinated, highly selective BS/MD program at City College and the CUNY School of Medicine (CSOM), Sophie Davis. This 7-year, direct high-school-to-medical route automatically admits students to CSOM. Suha graduated magna cum laude with a major in Biomedical Sciences and she was involved on campus. Suha was the Vice President of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) for the CSOM chapter and Health Professionals Recruitment Exposure Program (HPREP). In addition, she won the Rudin Research award to help with her research mentor Dr. Michelle Juarez’s work with the Drosophila embryo protocol, which served as a springboard to embark on more clinical research projects.

Suha attended Townsend Harris High School (THHS). We are proud to add that Suha is a long time tutor at Kweller Prep and has prepared students in various subjects including SHSAT and SAT. As many members of the CSOM community have worked with Kweller Prep, she is constantly learning and improving how to become a better teacher. In her free time, she likes to run, play volleyball and sing. She is also fundraising for the American Cancer Society as part of the TD 5boro bike race.
