Home School Co Op Info Session Video

Dear Families,

In light of recent news that schools will not fully reopen in the fall, Kweller Prep has decided to offer daytime in-person learning co-ops for families choosing to homeschool their children during the 2020-2021 school year. This initiative is called, The Kweller Co-op for Homeschoolers, or the Kweller Co-op (KCHS).

Starting September 2020, Kweller Prep locations will provide daytime in-person, live small class options for students in grades 3-8. These classes will be fully aligned with a homeschool curriculum and supervised by an educational consultant.

On July 8, 2020, the NYC Mayor announced that schools will not fully reopen in the fall. Kweller Prep will offer in-person daytime tutoring options for students in grades 3-8 who will opt to home school for the 2020 school year.

The Kweller Co-op will fully assist families who enroll with the necessary paperwork to transition to home-school instruction.

About The Kweller Co-Op For Homeschoolers, Or The Kweller Co-Op (KCHS).

Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 will meet in-person at Kweller Prep from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Mondays to Fridays starting September 8, 2020 – June 25, 2021. We will teach core subjects and one language.

Students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 will meet in-person from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm Mondays to Fridays starting September 8, 2020 – June 25, 2021. We will teach core subjects and one language.

Each in-person co-op in at Kweller Queens will have 6-8 students. Each in-person co-op at Kweller Manhattan will have 4-5 students. We will adhere to strict social distancing guidelines.

The Kweller Homeschool co-op will fully assist families interested in transitioning to a home school curriculum.

Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 meet Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
 
Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 meet Mondays to Fridays from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

See the guidance in reopening schools here. In response to NYC schools not fully reopening, we we want parents to be fully aware of homeschool options availsable to them. Kweller Prep will serve as a homeschool coop and provide daytime in-person options in a socially-distanced setting.
