Meet Our LSAT Tutor Kareem

Kweller Prep Tutor Kareem

KAREEM graduated from the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University. In college, Kareem served as the president of Columbia’s chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, helped Columbia administration to organize career fairs, and engaged students in Harlem by teaching a curriculum he created on the topic of Computer Science. Some of his college coursework included: all levels of calculus, differential equations, physics, chemistry, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics. Kareem receiving a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering along with a minor in Applied Mathematics and finishing with a 3.7 GPA is just the beginning; he was decorated with a slew of academic and leadership awards, scholarships from Columbia and Fortune 500 companies, and offers for engineering roles at a variety of companies. Kareem chose to start his engineering career at Exxon Mobil in Houston where he held a position as an Integrity Engineer, was decorated with company-internal awards, and ranked in the top percentage of his peers. Kareem recently transitioned to a project management position at a small firm to broaden his skill set and take on more responsibility. Kareem graduated from York High School as an AP Scholar with Distinction. He took many tough classes at York which included: AP Physics (Mechanics and Electricity/Magnetism), AP Chemistry, AP BC Calculus, AP English, and more. Kareem started tutoring students while himself was still in high school. Kareem’s love for teaching has not wavered, however, and he still makes time to tutor for the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, SHSAT and STEM classes such as Physics, Chemistry, and Calculus. Kareem is a proud son of Jamaican immigrants. Born and raised in Queens, New York, Kareem and is the first in his family to pursue a JD and an MBA. He was the first to attend an Ivy League college as well. His journey to this point has been unique and we are excited to have him share the details of it with you all. This summer, Kareem will teach Kweller’s GRE course. This class is designed to help aspiring lawyers, MBAs, and other graduate school students achieve their goals. Kareem is also going to be an excellent source of support for his class of students this summer, helping them navigate the graduate school admissions process.
