Ben is the CEO and driving force behind Kweller Prep, overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations, strategy, and growth. Since stepping into leadership in 2014, Ben has transformed Kweller Prep into a highly structured, results-driven organization known for its strong student outcomes and operational efficiency. He manages everything from academic programming and staff development to marketing, sales, finance, and day-to-day execution, ensuring that every part of the company runs at a high level.
Ben is deeply involved in the academic side of Kweller Prep, designing curricula, developing class structures, and training instructors to maintain a consistent and rigorous instructional standard. He also oversees the creation of proprietary materials, including textbooks, diagnostics, and practice exams, while continuously refining programs to align with evolving exam formats, such as the SHSAT, the Hunter High School entrance exam, and the SAT.
BEN graduated from Baruch College on a full academic scholarship and works full-time as the CEO and General Manager at Kweller Prep. He received a BBA degree in Business Administration from the Zicklin School of Business. Ben was an Entrepreneurial Management major focusing on small business management, with a minor in Corporate Communications. While at Baruch College, Ben took a series of advanced Accounting, Financial Auditing, and Entrepreneurial courses, including Financial Accounting 1 and 2, Cost Accounting, Computer Information System Accounting, Family Business Management, Entrepreneurial Startups, Entrepreneurial Experiences, and Real Estate Law.
A talented young man with an incredible work ethic, Ben held several prominent positions within his college and the larger Jewish community. Outside of his life at Kweller Prep, Ben, who is himself orthodox, was elected twice the President of Hillel at Baruch College. He also served as a student Board of Directors member of the Baruch College Association. Ben received the Henry Wollman Prizes award upon graduation for his outstanding contributions to student life and the ideals of service to the Baruch College Student Body and Student Government Community. Ben graduated from the Carl Sagan Advanced Honors Math and Science research program at Forest Hills High School with a 100.00 weighted GPA.
Ben received an Advanced Regents Diploma with an AP distinction upon graduation. At Forest Hills High School, Ben took many classes above his current level and finished the full high school curriculum by the end of his eleventh grade, allowing him to take all APs and college classes as a 12th grader. Ben was born in Israel but spent most of his life in the United States. He is fluent in Russian and is proficient in Spanish and Hebrew.
We are proud to add that Ben prepared for the SAT at Kweller Prep, raising his SAT score by an impressive five hundred (500) points (on the 2400 scale). Ben also attended Kweller Prep for 6 Regents exams during his time as a Kweller Prep student. He fondly refers to Kweller Prep as his academic “home,” and a year later, Ben was promoted from assistant to the manager of Kweller Prep Queens.
He works alongside Kweller Prep’s CPA team and assists them with running weekly payroll, balancing budgets, running promotions, and managing sales. Be also develops each class syllabus, orders and takes inventory of Kweller Prep textbooks and supplies, designs textbook covers and advertising layouts, and so much more. Ben’s key role is in staff training.
When not at Kweller Prep, Ben enjoys learning how to play musical instruments such as the piano and guitar, learning new marketing skills/strategies, and mentoring peers about financial literacy and investing.
