Kweller Prep Tutor Benjamin

Benjamin is a platinum-level tutor at Kweller Prep with over five years of experience helping students achieve outstanding academic results. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where he earned an Honors Bachelor of Science. He pursued a dual major in Mathematics and Physics, complemented by a minor in the Classics. His rigorous coursework spanned a wide range of advanced subjects, including Electrodynamics, Seismology, Multivariable Calculus, Statistics, and Group Theory.

Benjamin is a proud alumnus of Hunter College High School, where he graduated with an outstanding GPA of 3.92 out of 4.0. A natural leader and gifted athlete, Benjamin served as captain of the Varsity Soccer, Swimming, and Outdoor Track and Field teams, earning the coaches’ award in all three sports. Most notably, during his senior year as captain, the Hunter Varsity Soccer team advanced further in the PSAL playoffs than it had in over a decade, falling just short in the semifinals.

Benjamin’s academic excellence is reflected in his exceptional standardized test scores, including a 1530 out of 1600 on the SAT, a 34 on the ACT, a 1490 on the PSAT, an 800 on the Physics SAT II, and a 790 on the Mathematics 2 SAT II. He earned the prestigious distinction of National Merit Scholarship Finalist and performed strongly across all of his Advanced Placement courses, earning a 5 on AP Physics C, a 4 on AP Calculus BC, and a 5 on AP Latin.

Benjamin has been tutoring students both one-on-one and in group settings since his own high school days. His experience includes preparing students for the Hunter College High School entrance exam through City Smart Scholars, an organization dedicated to helping underprivileged students prepare for specialized high school exams. Benjamin is also well-versed in tutoring for the SAT, ACT, and SHSAT, as well as high school physics, Latin, and mathematics. In his spare time, Benjamin enjoys long runs, playing frisbee, reading fantasy novels, and playing League of Legends.
