Kweller Prep Tutor John M.

John currently attends Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, on an Academic Scholarship where he is a Biomedical Engineering major with a minor in Japanese Studies. He recently graduated from Hunter College High School, where he took classes such as AP Biology and AP U.S. Government and Politics, both of which he scored 5/5 on. In his senior year, his coursework also included AP Calculus BC, International Relations Courses, and Medical Physiology. John scored a 1490 on the SAT exam. Outside of the classroom, he was the captain for the Varsity Lacrosse Team, as well as President of the Chess Club, Mixed Race Club, and Multicultural Club. John was also a Teacher’s assistant for Hunter High Schools Biology class. John was in charge of tutoring individual students or small groups on daily biology lessons and helped create lesson plans and study guides for his peers. When John graduated, he received three awards; The Achievement Award in Athletics, the Elsbeth Kroeber Memorial Award for outstanding achievement in biology, and the Social Studies Departmental Award. Now at Case Western, his coursework includes classes such as Calculus 2, Calculus 3, Physics 1, Physics 2, Chemistry, and Sociology. He is also continuing his study of the Japanese language. When not teaching at Kweller Prep, John enjoys playing sports and doing the daily crossword puzzle.
