Kweller Prep Tutor Joonwoo

Joonwoo currently attends Baruch College, majoring in Accountancy. Joonwoo scored a 575 on the SHSAT, earning him a spot at Stuyvesant High School, one of the top specialized high schools. While at Stuyvesant, Joonwoo took numerous APs, including AP Human Geography, AP Spanish, AP United States Government, and AP Calculus. Joonwoo took part in several extracurriculars, including the New York Student Justice League, where he created posters of items sold by people of color to help them with their businesses during the pandemic. Joonwoo also regularly contributed to the Red Cross organization. After two semesters at Baruch, Joonwoo is on the Dean’s List with a perfect 4.0 GPA, taking rigorous classes such as Honors Micro-Economics, Business Statistics, and Logic and Moral Reasoning. In his sophomore year, Joonwoo plans on working for the Student Academic Counseling Center (SACC), an award-winning tutoring program at Baruch College. Joonwoo is part of many clubs, one being the Baruch Real Estate Club, where he takes part in case competitions. Joonwoo is also part of the Baruch Accounting Society, where he helps plan meetings for the club to invite professional guests to speak about the industry. Joonwoo is fluent in Korean and proficient in Spanish. Joonwoo loves teaching younger students and always looks for new and effective teaching methods to help students improve. When not at Kweller Prep, Joonwoo likes to play basketball with his friends, work out, and read books.
