Justin Kaufman is a graduate of Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Finance and Organization & Management. He currently works as a Business Development Associate at Guidepoint, a leading expert network that connects clients with industry professionals to drive better decision-making.
During his time at Emory, Justin was consistently recognized for academic excellence. He was named to the Dean’s List and inducted into Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, as well as being nominated for Order of Omega (Greek life honor society). His coursework included Financial Accounting, Applied Investments, Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Law, Marketing Management, Venture Capital and Private Equity, and Organization & Management. He also participated in business organizations such as Algory Capital Group and Emory Impact Investing Group. He placed third in a competitive stock pitch competition judged by venture capitalists and was an active member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
Outside the classroom, Justin engaged in Jewish life through programs like the Maimonides Jewish Fellowship and a Jewish podcast fellowship run by the Meor Organization at Emory.
Justin graduated as the Valedictorian of Baruch High School in Manhattan, earning an Advanced Regents Diploma with numerous Advanced Placement courses under his belt, including AP US History, AP Physics, and AP Calculus AB. He received several honors and scholarships, including the Sephardic Jewish Brotherhood of America Scholarship Award, the Hanley Medal from the School Art League, and recognition as a Posse Scholarship Semi-Finalist.
In high school, Justin was a member of the Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam, where he and his teammates won a $10,000 grant to build a cost-effective, solar-powered washing machine designed for underserved communities. He was also a leader on his school’s Math Team, a fundraiser for the Lorax Environmental Club, and a varsity athlete on the soccer team.
Outside of his academic and professional pursuits, Justin has extensive tutoring experience. He has taught hundreds of students over his four-year span at Kweller Prep, with many of them going on to top Ivy League schools. He tutors all subjects ranging from SAT and SHSAT to Regents Algebra and Biology for middle and high school students. He plans to continue supporting students at Kweller Prep in the future.
In his free time, he enjoys DJing, skiing, golfing, and spending time with friends.
