Kweller Prep Tutor Noah

NOAH is currently attending the Macaulay Honors College, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Health and Nutrition Sciences with a minor in Chinese. He is in the Brooklyn College BA-MD program, which guarantees admission to SUNY Downstate College of Medicine after successfully completing an honors undergraduate premedical program. Noah graduated from Stuyvesant High School, one of New York City’s few elite specialized high schools. Noah received a score of 1500 on the SAT, which puts him in the 95th percentile of test takers and a 565 on the SHSAT. While attending Stuyvesant High School, Noah’s coursework included AP Biology, AP European History, AP Chemistry, AP Macroeconomics, AP Calculus AB, and Advanced Organic Chemistry. He also took dual enrollment classes at Hunter College, including Psychology 101, Nutrition 101, Epidemiology 101, and Physics I. As a high schooler, he was a part of the Stuyvesant High School Men’s Varsity Fencing Team, Big Sibs Mentorship, and Stuy Neuro.

Noah is a New York State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and is a volunteer for the Brooklyn College Emergency Medical Squad. He responds to emergency calls on campus and for the surrounding Midwood, Brooklyn. He hopes to give back to his community and gain firsthand clinical experience before becoming an aspiring trauma surgeon. Noah is also a member of the Macaulay Pre-Health Club and the Brooklyn College Chapter of Global Brigades.

During his junior and senior year in high school, Noah participated in the American College of Cardiology Young Scholars program, a year-long commitment where he was selected from a national pool of candidates to be paired to work with world-renowned cardiologists on case reports and abstracts to be submitted to the ACC Medical Journal. Noah is also a highly competitive cyclist who has amassed a top 10 national ranking in under two years. During his free time, he enjoys racing locally at Kissena Velodrome and competing internationally to represent the UCI professional team Star Track when he has free time.
