Kweller Prep Tutor Sasha

Sasha is a junior at the University of Chicago, majoring in Economics and Public Policy. Sasha graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 2019. She took several Advanced Placement classes, including AP Biology, AP Calculus BC, AP English Language, AP French, and AP US History, which earned her the AP Scholar of Distinction Award. In high school, Sasha was a member of the Varsity Swim Team, a writer for the Stuyvesant Spectator, President of the Homeless Coalition, and a member of the Big Sib program. Outside of school, Sasha was also a founding member of No One Gets Left Behind, an educational startup that partnered with shelters in the Bronx to tutor elementary school children and conducted research at the NYU Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine. Sasha earned a 1540/1600 on her SAT, with a 790/800 in Math and a 750/800 in English. She also took Math I, Math II, Biology, and English SAT Subject Tests. At the University of Chicago, Sasha is part of several on-campus communities, including Women in Business, Smart Woman Securities, and the Trott Business Program, allowing her to take classes at the Booth School of Business. Sasha is also a Research Assistant at Behavioral Economics Lab on campus. Last summer, Sasha was accepted into the highly-selective program Girls Who Invest, which allowed her to take classes at UCLA Anderson and intern at a Crestview Partners in New York. Sasha is on the Dean’s List with a 3.93 GPA and has taken courses like Micro/Macroeconomics, Financial Accounting, Calculus I-III, Statistics, and Econometrics. In addition to being fluent in English, Sasha speaks Russian, Serbian, and French. Sasha has experience teaching SHSAT classes at Kweller. When not working at Kweller Prep, Sasha likes to try new coffee shops in Chicago and New York, watch criminal documentaries, and weightlift.
