Kweller Prep Tutor Shad

Shad currently attends Hunter College as an undergraduate. Shad is majoring in Computer Science and seeks to minor in economics. Currently, he has taken AP Calculus AB, AP Physics 1, AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, AP Psychology, St. Johns University English and four years of engineering classes through the DAVINCI honors program. Shad is an alumnus of Benjamin N Cardozo and graduated with a GPA of 3.85/4. He has participated in many Robotics and volunteer events to help those struck by disasters via the Red Cross and competed in regional robotics competitions. Shad scored highly on all of his standardized tests, scoring 1520/1600 SAT(780 M & 740 R&W) and was recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction. For his work in debate, Shad earned the school award for Righteous Commentary following a speech and presentation of Malcolm X and was awarded it alongside his AP Physics 1 scholar award at graduation.

Shad has worked in other prep schools and has even earned teaching roles in the past, notably working with Steel City Codes and NY Enrichment Group as a Coding Instructor and STEM Instructor, respectively, with over three years of experience in the field. Shad has been tutoring the SAT, SHSAT, college-level physics, mathematics, and economics for the past two years and is formerly lifeguard certified with CPR training. In his free time, Shad enjoys reading non-fiction, investment analysis and fishing.
