Kweller Prep Tutor Shah

Shah is a Freshman at New York University’s College of Arts and Science. He is studying Biology and pursuing a pre-med track. He is there on a full scholarship, and also hopes to attend NYU School of Medicine. His course work contains Principles of Biology, General Chemistry, Spanish Two, and Making Medical Decisions. Shah scored a 1570 on his SAT, with a perfect score of 800 on the math section. He also scored a 1440/1520 on the PSAT earning him the National Merit Commended Scholar award. He graduated from Stuyvesant High School taking a total of 8 AP classes. Shah scored a 5 on each AP test he took, and earned an A on all of the classes. In Stuyvesant, Shah participated in rigorous research programs such as Regeneron Research, and participated or held leadership positions in clubs such as Stuyvesant Football Club, the Muslim Student Association, and the Stuyvesant Physics Team. Outside of school Shah volunteered at local clinics, took classes at the American Museum of Natural History, and did programs at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. In Shah’s free time he likes to learn about and read works from philosophers such as Aristotle, Plato, Nietzsche, and Camus. Shah’s family immigrated from Bangladesh, so he understands the value of hardwork and education, and is excited to help others achieve their ambitions!
