Kweller Prep Tutor Yusha

Yusha is currently an undergraduate student at the Sophie Davis Biomedical Education Program at the CUNY School of Medicine, pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Yusha graduated from Stuyvesant High School. During his time there, he took 10 AP classes and several college-level courses, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Yusha’s most notable coursework includes AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC, AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism, Linear Algebra, Multivariate Calculus, AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, AP Computer Science, AP English, and AP World History. Yusha achieved a 1530 SAT score and a 34 on the ACT, putting him in the 99th percentile of all test takers for both respective exams.

Outside of academics, Yusha was a leader of the Stuyvesant Red Cross– the most prominent club at Stuyvesant, bolstering over 600 members. As a leader, Yusha communicated with organizations to find hosts for high school student volunteers and contributed to winning the Outstanding Red Cross High School Award. Yusha was the president of the Stuyvesant Muslim Student Association, where he organized school-wide events with approximately 200 people to share knowledge about Islam. Additionally, Yusha served as an event leader for Stuyvesant Science Olympiad, placing third at the 2022 NY Science Olympiad State Tournament and first at the 2022 and 2023 NYC Regionals. Yusha also led his Stuyvesant’s team of 50 students to win overall at the MIST New York 2023 competition and also won third overall competitor out of 500 competitors. Moreover, Yusha founded a non-profit organization called Omnicode that teaches a global community of interested students coding languages and how to apply them. During the summer of his junior year, Yusha attended the Summer High School Academic Program for Engineers at Columbia University, a program for high school students providing them with the opportunity to work and learn with Columbia Engineering Professors. In his free time, Yusha likes to play cricket, watch TV shows, and making music.
